Length cutting line for woven carpets

This line is placed behind the backcoating and shearing line.
She cuts the woven carpet along-side (in the length).
Standard, this machine is equiped with 3 knives, those 3 cutting-heads are following "each" separately the pole of the carpet.
After the cutting the carpet is beeing folded into a trolley, so you can go on to the next finishing line. An automatic control system makes sure that the machine detects the different widths which have been woven.
There is also an automatic detection wich stops the knives immediately, should they cut into the carpet.
Speed is adjustable from 0 up to 30 meter per minute.

Overedging line for woven carpets

The overedging-line has some specific advances we would like to specify. Mistakes and misuses of the machine are shown on a display. On top of that, there is an accurate control over the number of produced meters per day. You can also choose the speed, which is adjustable from 0 to 11 meters per minute. Above we have installed an adjustable suction-device, so there is less time needed to repair a broken thread.
By using sophisticated electronics, abrupt movements of the sewing machines are brought to a minimum, which leads to no more broken threads. In case of a small break-down, you can dismantle the overedging machine in a second. Continued tension of the carpet is assured through the brakes on all the necessary rolls. The minimum width is 0 or 0.55m and can go up to a maximum of 4.8m. The overedging machines operate completely independant and follow the instructed speed of the PLC. The 4 thread-controllers can each, separately be switched on. It is possible to install the overedging machine back on the place where you have a short of stitches after a fiber-break. The navigation makes sure that it goes automatically back to its work position.

Full-automatic width cutting line

The carpet is folded automatically. A camera system detects the space between 2 carpets and cuts in the middle of this spare place, by following the weaving (flat or pile), even if its curved. The folded carpet falls down on a finishing belt or on a buffer-transport belt.
The space between 2 carpets can also be cut out, along your needs.
Even small test-weaving zones and sewing seems are cut out automatically. Each of the 2 sides of the carpet are put between 2 belts, so the carpet can be fed to a finishing line with automatic feeding system (overedge, fringe or glue-finishing). So the carpets are immediately in correct position and do not move anymore.

Semi-automatic double fringing line for woven carpets

This fringing line works with a left and right side sewing machine, so the folded carpet is being fringed at both sides at the same time.
The transport belt is 10m long and the width of this belt is 0,6 up to 1,2m depending on the quality and the size of the carpet you want to fringe. The speed of the conveyor can be adjusted from 0-10 m per minute, and she can also turn backwards.
The both sewing (fringing) machines work synchronically, but can also work separately. Everything has been prepared in advance in case you want to put a glue head afterwards on this line, to put some glue on the back of the fringes. The sewing heads are easily to be dismantled in case they should require reparation and/or maintenance.

Full-automatic double

Both sides of the carpet are held between 2 belts and go to the overedging line where they are guided through the finishing machines.
One operator is enough to finish the carpets on this machine. The carpets come up to here after the acceleration belt on a flat belt and they are still held by two upper pressure belts that transport the carpet towards the Titan machines. The servo steering that drives the line follows the belt perfectly. Some adaptations and sensors enable the two Titans to control everything. With the photocell the two Titans can perfectly follow the sides of the carpet.
The acceleration belt accelerates the carpets one by one when they come from the automatic width cutting station, which guarantees a continuous operation. This belt is also equipped with upper pushing belts, to stick the carpet tight between the 2 belts!
The carpets are transported until they come under the upper pressure belts. Once under the belt, they are secured. The belt accelerates and the carpet follows until it has caught up with the previous carpet on a certain distance (regulated by the photocells).

Semi-automatic double Glue-line for woven carpets

This glue line puts hotmelted glue on he back of the carpet, folds it and pushes the flap so the side is being glued and folded at the same time.
This machine is delivered with a left side and a right side glue head on the same conveyor.
The speed of this line is adjustable from 0 up to 12 meter per minute.
The dose of the glue on the carpet is automatically the same from the beginning to the end.
The pressing zone is 1,5m so the side carpet is melted together when it comes out of the machine.
The left and right machine are straight opposite one to the other or separated with a space of 4m between left and right.

Full-automatic double glue-line

The glueing line folds the edge of the woven carpet.
The machine sprays a certain amount of (hot) glue between the fold and the back of the carpet.
The seam is pressed together to glue the folded carpet together.
The pile or side of the jute (in case of a flat woven carpet) is detected automatically. The heating system is making a small line where the carpet has to be bent over. The glueing head is following the same pattern and puts some glue between the input. then the carpet is pressed together. By using this system all the carpets are folded and glued perfectly where they have to be.

Full-automatic roller

  • On axe

  • One-by-one the folded carpets (width 0.6-3m) come from a finishing line and are rolled up completely automatic (up to 4 pieces/minute).
This roller can roll inside pole as well as outside pole with low or high tension. At the end two stretch foils (or plastic tapes) keep the rolled carpet together. An optional packing-unit can be put after the roller to instantly pack the rolled carpets in a plastic foil. Further possibilities in option: putting a belly-belt around the middle of the carpet, rolling up to 4m width, putting a third stretch foil, inserting a label at the end, speed up to 6 carpets per minute.

  • Centreless

  • The centreless roller rolls the carpet up tightly, with a minimum centre hole so the roll stays in shape during transport. Side guidance makes the carpets roll straight. The centreless roller can roll carpets with a diameter up to 350mm and reaches a speed of 3-4 carpets per minute. The carpets are being packed with stretch or other foil to keep the roll together. There is a semi and a full automatic version of the machine.

    Roll-in

With the roll-in packing machine the rolled carpet is rolled into the plastic film. This film is then closed on both sides with an ultrasonic welding seam or flat seam. The roll-in packing machine consists out of:

Plastic-unroll-cutting machine: the single sided flat foil is unrolled, cut at length and forwarded until it reaches the packing machine. While unrolling the plastic, a transparent tape is unrolled at the same time, to close the side over the length. The width of the foil is determined by the diameter of the rolled carpet. The foil can be changed within 2 minutes or the automatic changer can present a second roll (optional).

Packing-unit: the film is rolled tightly around the rolled carpet (adjustable tension), after which the carpet is closed over the whole length with the transparent tape. The carpet that has to be packed arrives at the upper trough conveyor, the ones that have already been rolled in to the plastic arrive on the lower trough conveyor. The film sides of the latter carpet aren’t closed at this moment.

Closing the sides: the plastic is shrunk into a welding seam with the ultrasonic welding device. The welding time is automatically changed. Alternatively the choice for a flat seam can be made (with an optional handle).

Removing conveyor: the packed carpet is transported to the side closing system and dropped in the trolley.

Automatic packing line with shrink foil

The carpets are being packed, completely automatic after being manually put on the conveyor by the server or automatically from another finishing line.
The machine -automatically- keeps a space between 2 individual carpets.
The carpet comes in between 2 plastic foils and the sides are being welded by hot pressured air.
After that, the front and the back side are continuously being welded by a pneumatic welding beam.
In the meantime the carpets are welded from each other and go separately into the shrink oven (tunnel) where the foil is being shrinked.
After this oven you can put a system to throw the carpets into a chariot.

    Transporting systems

To form a continuous line between overedging, width cutting and fringing, glueing or overlocking the side of the carpets and so finish the carpets in a quick and easy way with a few operators!
After finishing and rolling (manual or automatic) the transport system ends at the packing-machine!

After cutting the carpet in the width, the carpet falls on a belt and moves a little bit forward. One by one, the carpet falls on the belt and when the belt is full, it moves towards the 2nd belt (if this one is empty).
The second belt throws the carpets one by one on the fringing, glueing or overedging line. The carpets are all after each other, so the operator doesn’t have to worry about the supply of the carpets and can finish the carpet very fast.

    Backing unwinder for tufted carpets

This machine is being placed before a tufting machine where it unrolls the backing.
The advantages of this before backing unwinder is the continuous same tension you have to pull out the backing for it enters the tufting machine.
The backing is straightend out before it goes in to the tufting machine, even if the backing roll is not straight.
You can change the backing while the tufting machine keeps on running.
Pneumatic or hydraulic lifting of the backing roll.
There is a walkway for the operator, so he can easily work his tufting machine.

    Inspection for tufting and roller

    Inspection:
The tufted carpet is being brought in to the stop stand through the weight of the dance roll and pulled out trough the re-roller.
Above every runway there are TL-lamps (hermetically sealed).
    Possibility 1 : 2 compensation rolls and 2 runways.
    Possibility 2 : 2 compensation rolls, 3 runways.

    Rollers:
    Possibility 1 : tilt over re-roller with 2 rolls.
2 rolls diam. 457, (1 roll rough) taped.
Driven by 1 motor (1,5 kW) with tension between the rolls trough a chain connection.
2 pneumatic cylinders diam. 80 and safetyguard plates on the sides for safe lifting !
Electrical unit with start-stop integrated in the stopstand.
    Completely supplied with all provisions.
Sliding side guidance plates (tube and tube).

Accessories for tufting and needle machines

The program exists out of G-boxes, compensators (compensation from 50 up to 120m), rollers (2 or 3 rolls and lift table), inspection tables, cutting knives and many more.

Semi automatic roller after printing- or latexline

Rolls up the tufted carpet in rolls of 30m (length can be changed in a counter), cuts the carpet automatically, rolls up the rest.
A plastic is wrapped around the roll of carpet and this roll is thrown out on a conveyor belt.
The next carpet has reached his place, between the 2 rolls, automatically and a tube is falling down so the cycle can restart.
There is also a possibility to cut the width of the carpet (up to 5 knives).
The carpet has been rolled very straight by means of the side control and the tension of the carpetroll is changeable, so you have a steady roll.
The speed of this roller goes up to 60 meter per minute, so the operator can easily follow the speed of the latex line.

Semi-automatic rug roller for tufted carpet

After the carpets are manually put on the table, they automatically get transported to the machine, where they are centrally rolled, along choice.
After the carpets are rolled, they are thrown on a conveyor belt. The carpet is closed with two elastic films, to keep it from falling open.Tension of roll and stretch film is adjustable. Carpet is rolled with axe steering, which ensures a 100% straight rolled carpet. Coated rolling axe, to roll carpet without letting it slip off.

    Overedging tufted carpets

Mistakes and misuses of the machine are shown on a display.
On top of that, there is an accurate control over the number of produced meter per day. You can also choose the speed, which is adjustable from 0 to 11 meter per minute. Above we have installed a suction device so there is less time needed to repair a broken thread.
By using sophisticated electronics, abrupt movements of the sewing machines are brought to a minimum, which leads to no more broken threads.
In case of a small break-down, you can dismantle the overedging head in a second.
Continued tension of the carpet is assured through the brakes on all necessary rolls. The minimum with is 0 or 0,55m and can go to a maximum of 4,38m.
The overedging heads operate completely independent and follow the instructed speed of the PLC.
The 4 thread controllers can each, separately be switched on. It is possible to install the overedging machine back on the place where you have a short of stitches, after a fiber break.
The navigation makes sure that it goes automatically back to its work position.
