René PIERRET began with a blacksmith’s forge in 1925, in Corbion, in the hills above the Ardennes Semois, a river in the province of Luxemburg, Belgium.
He then began to manufacture cutting and packing machines for the well-known Semois tobacco industry.
In 1952, the 5 sons of Mr PIERRET designed and built a cutting machine for textile fibers and plastic materials, based on the tobacco-cutting technique.
PIERRET primarily specializes in the manufacture of cutting machines for textile and plastic materials as well as loaders for the automatic feeding of production lines.
